WOLF NAME Adva (Little ripple/wave)
GENDER Female
AGE 2 1/2 years
APPEARANCE Dull yellow eyes frame Adva's long snout and small ears with a dark grey nose. Her paws are on the larger side, with long and lanky legs that go down to her light brown paw pads. She has a lithe, petite build and is smaller in comparison to other wolves. Her fur's base is a light cream which fades into a more golden-rust color towards her back, tail, and head. Her ears are the darkest concentration of this rust color.
PERSONALITY From a positive standpoint, Adva's attributes can be beneficial. She's very loyal, and once her trust is earned, she will follow someone to the ends of the earth. The issue with this is her naivety - she often too easily trusts others and views the good in everyone, often leading her to overlook bad things another wolf has done. She's friendly, often showing a polite nature to others, although this is only ever shown when she is spoken to. Being a reserved wolf, she rarely initiates interactions. Reliable, she tries to help in any way she can even if she doesn't voice this willingness to help. She hates relying on others completely, and while appreciative of others' efforts, she will always try to do something on her own first even if she doesn't know how, leading her to mess up a lot of things on her own. She's non-adaptive, and takes a long time to adjust to new situations, often viewing them as unsavory or trying her best to avoid them entirely. She's extremely self-conscious and insecure, often worrying what others think of her and can't really think straight often because of it.
BACKSTORY Adva was born with one sister to their mother and father who had recently become mates. As time went on, Adva's mother continued to push the girls to think of a mate and focus on how to find an ideal match, and at two years old, Adva's sister set off in search. Adva, however, didn't. She wanted to stay with her family and found no benefit in setting off when her father was getting older and her mother couldn't hunt to save her life. Food wasn't scarce in the region, but a meal was. Adva helped her father when she could, but the most that he could ever catch were slow prey and she couldn't get more than rabbits and smaller game without anyone to help her.
Her mother became more restless by the day, nagging her all hours of sunlight and moon to leave home, to find someone and continue their lineage. To follow in her footsteps by leaving and make her proud. Though Adva was worried about her mother's opinion of her, she was more worried about her father.
After six months, her father died of disease. Adva decided, finally, to leave her home and leave the crushing gaze of her mother, although she was apprehensive about the journey ahead. She hated the idea of being alone, of traveling day and night with no guarantees. But she left anyway.
