The waves lap gently at the shore, rolling pebbles and kelp onto the sandier part of the beach. The pine trees stop several yards back, giving way to the brown beach. What will you find here? A crab scurrying over the sand, gulls crying out over your head, or the chuff of a dolphin breathing before its sleek fin slips back into the sea?

The Azure Mist wolves come to the shore to forage and check for danger. Regulating the coastline helps keep danger from reaching the islands. Whales also get beached here, seals bask along the shore, and gulls comb the beach for scraps of fish. Loners may venture to the shoreline to look for food as well...perhaps they would like to join the pack?

Beyond the shoreline begins the evergreen trees. Towering higher than any living thing, these trees have been watching over this land long before packs were established. Feel the fallen needles under your paws - they're everywhere, aren't they? But there is also lush grass, plants, and even mammalian prey such as Sitka deer deep in the forest. Not to mention bears and forest wolves.

Azure Mist wolves rarely venture here, but if trouble is lurking in the forest, they will take care of it! Sometimes loners and even dispersal inland wolves wander to this coastal forest. Maybe they will be curious about the island wolf lifestyle.
