Wolf Name: Linden
Gender: Male
Age: Three years
Appearance: Pale yellow eyes compliment the male's dark brown fur, that is also mixed with lighter browns and black-browns if you look closely. He has spots and undertones of blond fur, mostly on his legs, sides, and neck where its most notable there. He has black-brown fur that is almost unnoticeable from far away, but up close its quite promenent - the markings are on his face (like a mask), his ears, his paws, and the end of his tail. He has a patch of white-blond fur on his chest, in a sort-of diamond shape. His his fur is shorter than a normal mainland wolf, but he is taller than he is wide, having most of his stronger muscles in his legs rather than above, so while he appears lanky he is actually fairly strong despite not much of an upper frame.
Personality: Linden is an odd-ball. Very much more than it, but that's a way to put it. He talks to himself quite a lot, and is not afraid to speak his mind, unless he doesn't want to admit something (even then, he tries to bully himself to say it anyway). He is also extremely eccentric and has very specific beliefs about certain things, often through his own experiences, which also make him a very stubborn creature. He sulks and complains if he doesn't get his way, and is self-serving, unless it applies to the preservation of nature or minor things. The male, ironically, enjoys taking risks when in contact with others, and is fairly mischevious with them as well. Despite his nature, he seems to have a deep appreciation for life and rarely boasts of his hunting skills or experiences. Linden is quiet about his past for the most part, focusing on the future even more than the present sometimes. He enjoys his isolation for the most part, but there are some long nights where he does ache for company.
Backstory: He was born in a litter of four, with older siblings that would often have fits of wanderlust from time to time. "As long as father doesn't see," The common phrase in the sibling group began. "Then he won't ever care." This mentality would often lead to much distrust and toxicity in the members. Linden's littermates were unkind to him often, and his mother despised their egotistical father, which simply encouraged the already rebellious nature of the pack.
His father always had preferred his brothers over him, whether because of personality or more muscle mass, he didn't know, but when he was immediately named an omega as year-old wolf, he was furious. At every chance he got, he challenged his father, whether it was for the better share of food or a higher position, and he almost got himself killed a few times, still having the scars to show it. Eventually, his father had enough, and even though he was so young, he was run out of the pack and left to fend for his own. Linden spent days wandering the mainland until he stumbled upon the pine forest beaches of the coast, finding a place to himself there.
Linden had never really learned to hunt well, however through all his time outside of the pack, he not only gained experience but also some picky-eater traits through the large amounts of food he found. He was a quick learner, and the trials and tribulations shaped his once ego-driven and aggressive personality into a more humble, dreamy one. But he also picked up a few... quirks along the way, and experiences that explored his eccentric personality more. Linden's home is undefined, but he often takes to the shelter of trees along the beach.
