Deep in Askja's forest, there is a clearing. Some say it was created by a fire, but no one really knows. What we do know is that it makes a perfect gathering place. This is where the pack gathers to socialize, get assignments, and often where we sleep. There are plenty of dens to accommodate any wolves who need a rest, and it is also where young pups are kept. There will be meetings here nearly every day, so that everyone knows what needs to be done.

Most of Askja is occupied by dense forest. Quite a lot of healing herbs can be found under the pine trees, but there is also danger lurking in the shadows...like bears. Lots of bears. Keep your eyes open!

Many of Askja's sides are steep and rocky, but there are some accessible beaches. These allow Azure Mist wolves to swim from island to island with ease. And, they can be used to fish...especially during the salmon run. But bears like them too, so watch out!
